Poker is a game that requires a lot of skill. To win, you must be able to control your emotions and avoid distraction. You also need to practice and observe experienced players to develop quick instincts.<\/p>\n
During the game, each player in turn may “check” (not place a bet), “open” (make the first bet), or \u201cfold\u201d (drop out of the hand). The next player in line, after checking, must make another bet, and so on, until all players have had a chance to check or fold.<\/p>\n

You can win a lot of money in poker by creating card totals that are higher than the dealer\u2019s hand, but not exceeding 21, and\/or by stopping at a total that is lower than the dealer\u2019s, but higher than yours. You can also win by bluffing, which is when you use your cards to bluff other players into thinking you have a better hand than you do.<\/p>\n
